视觉论坛的各种NI资源，除了视觉相关的模块有使用外，大部分的都不会使用，仅提供资源不提供技术支持。资源的下载地址一般会同时提供NI官方和百度网盘的地址。某些工具包NI地址失效或没有NI地址，只能使用百度网盘地址；如果百度网盘地址失效过期，可联系论坛客服更新。NI的服务器在美国，有时候速度很慢或下载容易出错，这样会造成安装时各种错误而无法安装。建议在下载完成后，对下载资源做校验和(NI一般会提供MD5或SHA256等)验证，与官方或视觉论坛提供的校验和对比，一致就可以安装；如不一致，则需要重新下载。视觉论坛早期下载上传的资源，基本上都是正常下载的资源；2019后下载的资源，都与NI的正确校验和对比过，保证是正确的资源才上传到百度网盘。校验和工具下载地址：文件Hash计算器FHash，文件校验和验证下载文件正确性验证，MD5值计算、SHA1值计算、SHA256值计算、CRC32值计算http://visionbbs.com/thread-26524-1-1.html

Overview

This CD includes the latest BIOS for supported controllers. Refer to the BIOS Versions table below for the supported controller models.

Caution: Flashing this BIOS will reset your CMOS default settings. Record changes you have made to them prior to flashing this BIOS.

Supported Operating Systems

BIOS Patch supports the following platforms. For the most up-to-date BIOS, visit ni.com.

• Windows 10 (32-bit and 64-bit)
• Windows 8.1 (32-bit and 64-bit)
• Windows 7 with SP1 or later (32-bit and 64-bit)
• Windows Vista with SP2 or later (32-bit)
• Windows XP with SP3 or later (32-bit)
• Windows Server 2012 R2 (64-bit)
• Windows Server 2008 R2 with SP2 or later (64-bit)
  

Note: Some hardware may not support all operating systems listed above. Consult your hardware documentation for more information.

Updating to the Latest BIOSInstallation Instructions

The BIOS for this controller is larger than the storage available on a single floppy. You need a USB flash drive to boot the controller and flash the BIOS from DOS.

Complete the following steps to install the update:

• Obtain a USB flash drive that may be overwritten if necessary.
• Convert the USB flash drive to a bootable device that can boot DOS or EFI Shell by running CreateUSBUtilityDisk.exe.
• Insert the USB flash drive into your controller. Complete the following steps to set up your controller to boot first from the USB flash drive:
  
  • While the controller boots, press to enter the BIOS Setup Utility. (Note all changes made. You may need to reset them after completing the BIOS update.)
  • Navigate to LabVIEW RT»Boot Configuration and ensure that Windows/Other OS is set. If you changed anything, press to save and reboot.
  • If needed, while rebooting press to enter the BIOS Setup Utility again.
  • Navigate to Advanced»SATA Configuration»SATA Mode Selection and select IDE.
  • Navigate to Advanced»USB Configuration and enable Legacy USB Support.
    
    • This setting is not required for BIOS update via EFI Shell
      
  • Navigate to Advanced»USB Configuration»Mass Storage Devices and select Auto.
  • Navigate to Boot»Hard Drive BBS Priorities and move USB to the top of the list (Boot Option #1).
  • Navigate to Boot»Boot Option #1 and make sure USB is at the top of the list.
  • Press to save and reboot.
    
• Once the controller boots into DOS or EFI Shell, follow the onscreen instructions to flash your BIOS.
• Once the system starts the BIOS update process, be sure to let the program complete. Failure to do so will corrupt the system, and it will not boot.
• Once the program finishes, remove the USB flash drive and reboot the controller.
• If a problem occurs during the flash, contact National Instruments technical support for assistance.
  

Update BIOS using PXI Controller Firmware PackageInstallation Instructions

Complete the following steps to update PXI Controller Firmware Package:

• Download and save the firmware image for your PXI controller to the system containing the controller that needs updating. If the system containing the controller is running RT OS, download and save the firmware image to the host machine instead.
• On the host system, use NI Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX) to upgrade the firmware. You must run MAX with administrator privileges.
  
  • For Windows Systems: Open MAX and expand Devices and Interfaces under the My System tab.
  • For RT systems: From the host machine, open MAX and expand Remote Systems. Expand the target system and expand Devices and Interfaces.
    
• For the controller to be updated:
  
  • Expand the Chassis tab and select the controller needing the firmware update.
  • Click the Update Firmware button in the right pane.
  • Navigate to and select the firmware image file saved in step 1, then click the Open button.
    
    • A dialog box should open containing information about the firmware image selected.
      
  • Click Begin Update to confirm and start the update.
    
• Follow any additional instructions provided when the update is complete.
  
  • If the dialog says an issue occurred, record the error number/message and contact National Instruments.
