This document contains information about known issues and bug fixes in NI Requirements Gateway 2012. Refer to the NI Requirements Gateway Version 2012 Release Notes for information about changes since Requirements Gateway 1.1, including new features, and for information about getting started with Requirements Gateway, such as system requirements, installation instructions, and licensing information. If you do not activate a Requirements Gateway license, Requirements Gateway operates in Evaluation Mode. Refer to the What's New in Requirements Gateway topics for previous versions of Requirements Gateway in the NI Requirements Gateway Help for information about new features, compatibility and known issues, and bug fixes for those versions.

Requirements Gateway does not support Guest user accounts on Windows. Requirements Gateway supports Administrator and Limited accounts on Windows 7/Vista and Administrator, Power Users, and Users accounts on Windows XP.

Installing Requirements Gateway Silently
You can install Requirements Gateway without viewing any installation dialog boxes. Refer to the National Instruments KnowledgeBase article 4CJDP38M, Automating the Installation of a Single Installer, on the National Instruments website for information about installing National Instruments software silently. Refer to the NI Requirements Gateway Version 2012 Release Notes for more information about installing Requirements Gateway.
Licensing
Requirements Gateway relies on licensing activation. You must activate a valid Requirements Gateway license before you can run Requirements Gateway. To activate Requirements Gateway, use the serial number you received as part of your installation package. Refer to the NI Requirements Gateway Version 2012 Release Notes for more information about licensing in Requirements Gateway.
