NEW FEATURES
------------

* Improved handling of the GigE Vision heartbeat timeout. In case an application
  has been started under the control of a debugger, the connection to the camera
  is closed automatically when the application is terminated or crashes. This
  allows you to use the GigE camera again immediately after restarting the
  application. pylon 7.1 or above is required for the improved heartbeat timeout
  becoming effective.

CHANGES

* Updated OpenCV and Point Cloud Library installation topics in the blaze
  C++ Programmer's Guide.
* Fixed an issue causing the producer to not acquire images when the Extended ID
  feature is enabled (under Windows with pylon GigE Vision Performance Driver).
  Note that the pylon GigE Vision Performance Driver has been discontinued.
  You should use the pylon GigE Vision Filter Driver instead.
* Fixed an issue causing the blaze Viewer to crash when the content of the
  feature tree search box was deleted.
* Fixed an issue causing the frame ID to only go up to 65535 when the Extended ID
  feature was enabled and then to overflow (under Windows with pylon GigE Vision
  Filter Driver).
* Fixed an issue where the Gamma Correction feature didn't work properly when
  using camera firmware version 4.x.
* Fixed the return type of GetBufferPartInfo BUFFER_PART_INFO_DATA_TYPE
  from int to size_t.
* Added the AutoPacketSize and UseExtendedIdWhenSupported parameters. Usage of
  GigE Vision Extended IDs is enabled by default.

KNOWN LIMITATIONS
------------------

Windows, pylon versions below pylon 7.2.1:
- Basler generally recommends using pylon 7.3 or above with blaze cameras.

Linux:
- Programming samples using the Point Cloud Library (PCL) may crash depending
  on the versions of the PCL and VTK libraries installed on your system. The
  crash is due to a bug in the VTK libraries that are used by PCL for 3D
  visualization.

  For example, Ubuntu 22.04 ships versions of the libraries showing the problem.
  Solution: PCL 1.13.1 and above contain fixes to work around the VTK bug.
  Uninstall the PCL libraries provided by your Linux distribution and build PCL
  version 1.13.1 or above from sources (these are available on
  https://github.com/PointCloudLibrary/pcl).
